This is the best read so far,with only one book to go.The sheer enjoyment of a good story and a profoundly moving tale. There are times, with other writers, I drift into boredom when the descriptive accounts occur,but not here. The desciptions have humour and relate delightfully to the circumstances. I felt the other books to be egotistic in comparison,but here a wider issue is raised, that of our attitude to other social groups. 10/10
